Restore Wellness does not prescribe medications as part of our blood work panel program. Where appropriate, your report may include recommendations or areas to discuss further with your existing healthcare provider. Any decisions regarding medications or supplements should be made with your medical team.
-
Restore Wellness offers comprehensive blood-based biomarker testing, with panels that can assess 77+ biomarkers across a range of health categories.
-
No need to arrange one yourself. Restore Wellness will provide the blood work requisition required to complete your testing.
-
Fasting is recommended for most Restore Wellness blood work panels, although some tests may not require it. If you need to eat beforehand, choose foods lower in fat and sugar. We also recommend being well hydrated before your blood draw.
-
If you’re experiencing a short-term illness, such as a cold, flu, infection, fever, or stomach bug, it may be best to wait until you’re feeling back to your usual baseline.
Illness, inflammation, dehydration, and other temporary stressors can affect certain blood markers. For a more representative baseline, we generally recommend waiting 10–14 days after your illness has fully resolved before completing your blood work.
-
Yes. Restore Wellness takes the privacy and security of your personal health information seriously. Information collected throughout your Restore Wellness experience is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
-
If possible, avoid or minimize caffeine for approximately 12 hours before your blood draw. Caffeine may temporarily affect hydration and certain blood markers, so limiting it can help provide a more consistent baseline for your results.
-
Routine blood work is generally focused on specific symptoms and immediate medical needs. Restore Wellness panels examine a broader range of carefully selected biomarkers, providing the more comprehensive and detailed health assessment you may be looking for.
Rather than simply identifying results that fall outside a reference range, our medical team reviews your biomarkers to provide a more comprehensive picture of your health and highlight areas that may benefit from further discussion or follow-up.
-
It may take up to seven days for Restore Wellness to receive all of your biomarker results, as some tests require specialized analysis in Edmonton. Once all results are available, our team will carefully review your findings and create your personalized wellness plan. We will contact you when your results and plan are ready.
